Crowds of blue greet SEC Champs at Blue Grass Airport

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Solid Blue fans are welcoming the 2015 SEC Champions back to Lexington. Crowds of people turned out to Blue Grass Airport to see the Kentucky Wildcats as they arrived from Nashville. The team flew home after beating the Arkansas Razorbacks 78-63 for the SEC title.

The Cats waved at Solid Blue fans as they exited the plane. The team then boarded a bus. And their night is far from over. The Cats are watching Selection Sunday at Coach John Calipari’s home in Lexington.

Kentucky is only the fourth team to go into the NCAA Tournament undefeated since 1976.
