Wanton endangerment charge for suspect in December gunfire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police have made an arrest after they say a man fired a gun back in January, causing thousands of dollars of damage to a victim’s vehicle.

According to an arrest citation, 20-year-old Alan R. Luke intentionally fired the gun towards two people on Jersey Street.  The report says the shots passed through the radiator of one of the victim’s vehicle, coming to rest in the engine block.  The citation says that insurance companies are estimating the damage to be around $9,000 dollars.

Luke was arrested just after midnight, Thursday morning.

He has been charged with wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.
