Crime Stoppers tip leads to arrest of Lexington burglary suspect

LEXINGTON, KY (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A tip to Bluegrass Crime Stoppers has led to the arrest of a Lexington man wanted in connection with a recent burglary.

Police say 31-year-old Ra’Mone Burdette was taken into custody Tuesday after being featured as a wanted suspect earlier this month. Investigators accuse him of breaking into a home on Altamont Court with a gun on August 20.

In addition to burglary, Burdette is facing charges of terroristic threatening, drug trafficking, and restricted ammunition use. Officials say he also had outstanding warrants for assault, tampering with physical evidence, and leaving the scene of an accident.

Burdette appeared in court Wednesday afternoon for arraignment.
