Crews work to extinguish early morning house fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Lexington Fire Department says it was called to a house fire on Erie Road around 4:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Crews say a woman and three children were displaced. They were inside when the fire started but managed to escape.

According to the fire department, the woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The Red Cross has been called in to help the victims.
