Crews respond to East Sixth Street town home fire
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Firefighters were called to the scene of a townhome fire early Tuesday morning on East Sixth Street, according to the Lexington Fire Department.
Crews say they received the call around 4:55 a.m. and arrived to find a fire in the kitchen area of a vacant townhome that was undergoing renovations.
No injuries were reported. Fire officials say they are now working with neighbors in the adjacent apartment to determine if they need to leave due to possible damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
