Crews investigate small fires off Nicholasville Rd.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Crews are investigating a series of small fires that have broken out in the past week off Nicholasville Rd.  Last night, fire officials responded to a dumpster fire behind an apartment complex on Malabu Dr. at 12:45 a.m.  That makes three fires in that area in the last week.

Fire officials are not saying if the fires are suspicious, though they do say a fire just a block over on Lowry Dr. three weeks ago was set intentionally.  If anyone has any information on the fires, call investigators at 231-5672,, or e-mail arsontips@lexingtonky.gov
