Crews continue clean-up after rock fall

KNOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Road crews say they won’t be able to fully clear a rock fall in Knott County until Monday.

The transportation cabinet says the rock fall shut down both lanes of Kentucky 1088 this weekend near the Knott-Perry County line.

The cabinet says crews worked all night to try to get one lane open, but they need a hammer and excavator to break up some large rock.

Until Monday, they suggest you avoid the area.
