Crash Leaves SUV Wrapped Around Pole
A high speed chase with Lexington police ended with an SUV wrapped around a pole.
Police said the SUV was reported stolen Tuesday morning. Investigators said an officer spotted the car driving through town around 5 p.m. and perused the driver. The driver of the SUV then sped through the intersection of Pine and Upper Street, and was t-boned by another car.
The driver of the SUV was taken to UK Hospital in critical, but stable condition, according to police. The driver of the other car was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police are investigating the accident.
