Crash leads Danville Police to drug arrest

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- A crash in Danville leads police to drugs, money and an arrest.

It happened Sunday morning, before noon. Police say they were responding to an accident on East MLK Blvd. for a two vehicle injury crash. When police looked closer, they found 29-year-old Darren Williams, of Lancaster hit a parked car.

Once Williams was released from the hospital, he was arrested and charged with Trafficking Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Police say those things were recovered at the scene of the crash.
