Crash in Boone County kills two
BOONE COUNTY (AP)- Two people are dead after a car crash in Boone County. Kentucky State Police say 35-year-old Rama Varahabhatla of Louisville was driving north when he drove off the road at a curve.
The car launched into the air then rolled over and hit a tree. The driver and his front passenger, 25-year-old Raja Yarmala, were both trapped in the car. Yarmala was flown to the hospital in Cincinatti, but died from his injuries.
The passenger in the back on the right side, 27-year-old Benkat Kommu, was ejected from the car and died on the scene. No charges have been filed.
