‘Cram The Cruiser’ Food Drop-Off Locations
In Spencer County, KSP Post 12 Frankfort has teamed up with the Taylorsville Police Department to gather non-perishable food items.
Anyone who wishes can drop off non-perishable food items in the Police cruisers day or night. You can also drop off food inside the lobby of the Taylorsville Police Department or at the KSP Post 12 at 1250 Louisville Road, Frankfort.
Donation containers will be located at those Domino’s Pizza locations to collect nonperishable food items.
The participating Domino’s stores are giving a discount towards Domino’s purchases of anyone who donates non-perishable food items, either at the store or to their Domino’s delivery driver.
The food will be distributed to local shelters, churches or other organizations serving those in need during the holiday season.
Suggested donations include canned fruit and canned vegetables, canned meat, macaroni and cheese, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned soups, chili or spaghetti sauce, brownie and cake mixes, coffee, water, powdered milk and juices.
Last year KSP collected 50,931 pounds of food.
