Cow rescued from sinkhole in Madison County
RICHMOND, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A cow is safe this morning after being rescued from a sinkhole in Madison County Tuesday night.
According to the White Hall Volunteer Fire Department, crews responded to the scene near Richmond and found the animal trapped inside the sinkhole.
Using a large animal rescue kit, firefighters were able to safely lift the cow out. Officials say the animal was not injured before or during the rescue.
