Cousins Acquitted Of Federal Hate Crimes

 Two men were acquitted by a federal jury in eastern Kentucky of hate crimes on Wednesday but were convicted of kidnapping and assault.
 David Jenkins and Anthony Ray Jenkins were accused of violating a federal hate crimes law in a first-of-its-kind case.
 They were accused of kidnapping and assaulting Kevin Pennington, who is gay, and using anti-gay slurs while kicking and beating him in a state park.
