LONDON, Ky. (AP) — Deputies say two people found in a burning home in Laurel County had been shot.
Media report the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the deaths as homicides.
Autopsies were scheduled Monday for 62-year-old Donne Jackson and 58-year-old Sharon Jackson to determine the cause of death. Authorities say the Jacksons are believed to be husband and wife.
The fire was reported by the couple’s grandson around 10 a.m. Sunday at the home in the Lily community, about 8 miles outside London.
