Counterfeit money circulating in Lancaster
LANCASTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lancaster Police are warning people and businesses to be on the lookout for counterfeit money that is circulating in the community.
According to a post on the police department’s Facebook page, someone passed a bogus $10 bill in a store on Wednesday.
Police say all bills should be closely inspected. Investigators say anyone who comes across cash that doesn’t look or feel right should have it verified at a bank.
