Counterfeit $100 bills circulating in West Liberty

WEST LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – West Liberty Police are warning people to be on the lookout for fake $100 bills circulating in the community.

Investigators say the bogus bills are smaller than an actual $100 bill.  The counterfeit money also has the word “copy” stamped near the seal of the Federal Reserve.

There is also another stamp on the bills that says “Rozetta Prop Money.”

Police say if you use cash, be on the lookout for the phony money.
