Coroner: Man found in burning car was homicide victim

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) – A coroner says the death of a 24-year-old man whose body was found inside a burning vehicle was a homicide.

Media outlets report the Fayette County coroner’s office released the findings Friday. The office says the cause of death won’t be released.

The body of Joseph Trevor Dilger was found in the vehicle Sept. 4 along the side of a rural, one-lane road.
