Coroner looking for family of Lexington man

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office is asking for helplocating the family of a man who recently died.

The coroner says 68-year-old Edward L. Burks died January 24 of natural causes at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Burks lived in the Versailles Road area of Lexington but had been a ward of the state for years.

The coroner asks that anyone with information on Burks’ next-of-kin to call (859) 455-5700.
