Coroner identifies Winchester Rd. crash victim
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn has identified the woman, who died in the rollover crash early Wednesday morning, as 30-year-old Dominga Mendoza Gonzalez of Lexington.
Mendoza Gonzalez was the passenger in the car that police say left the road, rolled over and landed in a culvert on Winchester Road, near Bahama Road and Man O’ War Blvd. The male driver was taken to the hospital. His condition is not known, and police have not released his name.
The coroner says Mendoza Gonzalez died from multiple blunt force injuries. Her time of death is listed at 8:50 a.m., but officials believe the accident occurred much earlier in the morning hours.

UPDATE (11:30 A.M.): The cause of a fatal early-morning crash remains under investigation, according to Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn.
He says two people were in the vehicle; the passenger, believed to be a woman, died at the scene. The driver, believed to be a man, was taken to the hospital, and their condition has not yet been released.
Officials say crews were called just after 7 a.m. to the 3300 block of Winchester Road for a collision involving entrapment.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) —The inbound lanes of Winchester Road between Bahama Road and Man O’ War Boulevard were shut down Wednesday morning following a serious collision, according to Lexwrecks.
No additional details about the crash or possible injuries were immediately released.
The road is expected to remain closed while authorities investigate.
