Police: Fatal shooting victims were in a dispute, when they shot at each other
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – As officials move to close an investigation into a fatal shooting, they have released new details.
The fatal shooting happened on Monday and claimed the lives of two men in the Village Drive and Cambridge Drive area in Lexington.
According to officials, the investigation revealed that the two victims, Antwone Sanders and Roderick Clay were in a dispute when both of them shot at each other.
Authorities say they believe no other parties were involved in the shooting.
According to detectives they are in the process of closing the investigation.
As we’ve reported officers were called to the village drive area on Monday morning for a report of a shooting with a victim.
when they arrived, officers found sanders and clay suffering from gunshot wounds.
Authorities add that both men died at the scene.
