Coroner identifies Morehead man found dead along Rock Fork Road in Rowan County

ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Officials have released the name of a man found dead along a roadside in Rowan County earlier this week.

The coroner’s office says the victim has been identified as 41-year-old William Manning of Morehead. As previously reported, Manning’s body was discovered Wednesday afternoon on Rock Fork Road near the Fleming County line.

According to the coroner, the cause of death remains pending while investigators wait for autopsy and toxicology results. Officials say foul play is not suspected at this time.

Authorities have not released additional details, and the case remains under investigation until final results are returned.
