Coroner identifies 2 men found dead in Wilgreen Lake in Richmond late Wednesday night

The Madison County Coroner’s Office has identified two men they say were found dead in Wilgreen Lake in Richmond late Wednesday night.

According to the coroner’s office, they responded to the scene around 10:54 p.m. Wednesday after being requested by KSP and Water Patrol.

The coroner’s office says that 64-year-old Ronnie Rollins and 63-year-old Anthony Hoover were found in the water across the lake on the opposite side of the dock.

According to the coroner’s office, the bodies have been sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.

LEX 18 is working to learn more information after Kentucky State Police and the Madison County Coroner’s Office were seen at the Wilgreen Lake Boat Ramp in Richmond on Wednesday night.

KSP tells LEX 18 that the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife is handling the situation.
