Coroner identifies 16-year-old Henry Clay High School student killed in overnight Lexington shooting
UPDATE 2: The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says the victim was 16-year-old Arsenio Jackson, Jr.
The coroner says Jackson died from gunshot wounds, but says the actual number of those wounds is not being released right now.
Jackson’s body has been taken to Frankfort, where an autopsy is scheduled to be performed Wednesday by the State Medical Examiner’s office.
UPDATE: FCPS confirms to ABC 36 News that the young victim was a 16-year old junior at Henry Clay High School in Lexington.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Lexington Police Department says one person has died after an overnight shooting on Rambling Creek Drive.
Officials say they were sent to the 700 block of Rambling Creek Drive around 2 a.m. for reports of shots fired.
Family members say the victim is a 16-year-old boy.
Right now, we are working to learn his identity, which the coroner will release later.
Officers say when they arrived, they found the victim in the road, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
