Coroner: Death Of Man On Lamont Being Called Homicide

After a 40-year-old man was found dead on Lamont Drive Sunday evening, the Fayette County coroner called it a homicide.

Lexington Police said they responded to a call for a reported stabbing on Lamont Drive but wouldn’t go into detail about what happened. A mobile crime lab was on the scene Sunday night.

The coroner also said another person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
