UPDATE: Coroner locates family of homeless man

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says the family of Marshall Caywood Proffit has been located.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office is trying to locate the family of a Lexington man.

According to the coroner, 61-year-old Marshall Caywood Proffit was homeless and died from natural causes on Tuesday.

The coroner believes Proffit’s two adult children, Mark Bentley and Stephanie Bentley, may live, or did live, in Pikeville, Kentucky.
