Corbin teen accused of raping woman

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Corbin teenager is accused of raping an intoxicated woman and recording it on a cell phone, according to a report in the News Journal.

The report says 18-year old Ronald Leas is charged with first-degree rape and video voyeurism.

The report says there are three additional suspects, but no names were immediately released.

The 22-year old woman was reportedly raped in a Williamsburg hotel on May 19, 2019, according the the report.

Investigators told the newspaper that the cell phone used to record the reported rape was recovered.

Leas was taken to the Whitley County Detention Center.

Williamsburg Police continue their investigation.
