Copper Theft At AT&T Cell Tower In Lexington
A copper thief hit a cell phone tower in Lexington Monday.
Police responded to the AT&T tower on Enterprise Court at around 12 a.m.
When they arrived, they found the fence cut.
According to AT&T, the thief stole thousands of dollars worth of copper.
Police said they are not sure of the extent of damage to the tower.
They did say it doesn’t appear service was interrupted as a result of the theft.
