Cool Springs road to be closed in Clay County this week

– The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says KY 2440 (Cool Springs Road) in Clay County will be closed beginning Tuesday, April 3 at 8 a.m. until Thursday, April 5 at 6 p.m.

The road closure is necessary to allow contractors to perform roadway excavation on Cool Springs Road. Drivers will need to use an alternate route.

KYTC asks drivers to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and to use safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their own reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application.
