Convicted sex offender found guilty

KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A convicted sex offender has been found guilty on 62 additional felonies for crimes against children.

The Commonwealth Attorney’s office says a jury in Kenton County found Matthew Bucher guilty on charges including 30 counts of promoting a sexual performance by a minor, 30 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, one count of rape, and one count of sodomy.

In 2018, WCPO reported that police believed Bucher raped, photographed, and abused at least a dozen teens between Dayton, Ohio, and Louisville before his arrest.
