Construction could cause stopped traffic on New Circle Rd.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Traffic stoppages continue this week on a portion of New Circle Road in Lexington.
The transportation department said short term stoppages are necessary for crews to complete construction blasting operations as a part of the road widening project underway in Fayette County.
Stops will be in effect this week from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day and will occur between Georgetown Road and Lexmark.
According to the state, motorists could be stopped for up to 20 minutes at a time.
