Concert to help pipeline explosion victims in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A concert will take place later this month to help those impacted by the deadly pipeline explosion in Lincoln County.

Organizers say the “Rock Cares Festival” will take place Aug. 24 at the Lincoln County fairgrounds.

Several bands are listed on the schedule.

The cost is $10 per person or $40 per carload. Children 12 and younger are free.

Organizers say all proceeds will go to the Hustonville Helping Hands Family Resource Center to be distributed to victims of the natural gas pipeline explosion.

One person was killed in the Aug. 1 explosion, several others injured.
