Computer Glitch Grounds American Airlines Flights
American Airlines has grounded all of its flights through 5 p.m. because of a computer glitch.
Blue Grass Airport Spokeswoman Amy Caudill said so far there is no impact in Lexington.
There are two more American Airlines flights scheduled for 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. tonight.
The nation’s third-busiest carrier had been having "intermittent " problems throughout the day, but announced at 2:38 p.m. ET that it was grounding all flights in an effort to resolve the problem.
