Company expanding in Bowling Green, adding 37 jobs

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — A company that makes vent-free gas heating appliances is relocating its China-based manufacturing facility to Bowling Green, creating 37 jobs.

ProCom Heating Inc. moved to Bowling Green in 2011 and plans to add about 310,000 square feet to its facilities in a $19 million expansion.

Gov. Steve Beshear’s office said in a release that the expansion will take place in three stages beginning next year.

The state has given preliminary approval for tax incentives up to $850,000 for the project.
