Community prayer meeting for Wynter Wagoner
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Community members from Laurel and Rockcastle counties will come together this weekend for a prayer gathering in hopes of bringing home Wynter Wagoner, the teenager who has been missing since October.
A community prayer meeting is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m. at Wayward Ministries in East Bernstadt. Organizers say the event is open to anyone who wants to support Wynter’s family and help keep attention on her case.
Wynter, who is originally from Laurel County, was in foster care in Rockcastle County when she disappeared on the evening of Oct. 14. Since then, her absence has sparked ongoing concern across both communities.
Family members, friends and supporters say Saturday’s gathering is not only a time for prayer, but also a way to raise awareness and encourage anyone with information about Wynter’s whereabouts to come forward.
Organizers say they hope continued community support and visibility will help lead to answers and, ultimately, bring Wynter safely home.
