Commencement ceremonies scheduled for UK graduates

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Thousands of University of Kentucky students are celebrating a major milestone this weekend as UK holds its spring commencement ceremonies at Rupp Arena.

According to the university, more than 4,000 graduates are registered to walk across the stage during four ceremonies split between Friday and Saturday.

Graduations begin Friday morning at 9 a.m., with additional ceremonies scheduled for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The final ceremony will take place Saturday at 9 a.m.
