Combs Ferry Road in Fayette Co. to be closed starting Wednesday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises drivers that KY 1923 (Combs Ferry Road) will be closed Wednesday, July 11, through Friday, July 13, between mile points 0.5 and 0.6 in Fayette County.
Traffic will be blocked from 8 a.m.to 3 p.m. each day to allow crews to install gabion baskets and repair roadside drainage ditches.
KYTC says there will not be a signed detour, but motorists can travel around the work zone via U.S. 60 (Winchester Road), KY 1973 (N Cleveland Road) and KY 1927 (Todds Road).
Drivers should expect delays, travel with caution and avoid the area if possible.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
