Cold weather supplies needed for Lexington Harm Reduction program
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department is asking for donations of cold weather supplies for the Harm Reduction program.
The department posted on Twitter in part, “We need your help helping Lexington be well … and warm! Our #HarmReduction program has a Sharing Shelf to help participants who need warm supplies for the upcoming months.”
The post lists specific items they can accept which includes socks, gloves and toboggans/warm hats.
The health department said donations can be dropped off at their building located at 650 Newtown Pike in a drop-off bin in front of the lobby.
All donations must be new and appropriately packaged.
