Coca-Cola product Minute Maid issues recall
Mislabeling leads to recall of full-sugar beverage.
KENTUCKY (ABC 36 NEWS NOW)— Coca-Cola has announced the recall of more than 13,000 cases of Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade due to mislabeling concerns. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), some cartons contain the full-sugar version of the beverage instead of the advertised zero-sugar variant.
The affected twelve-pack cartons were distributed to retailers across Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. Consumers are advised to check their purchases and can find more information regarding the recall on the FDA’s website.
