Clinton County man charged with murder

ALBANY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Clinton County man was charged with murder on Monday following the shooting death of another man during an argument. State Police say 27-year old Travis Slone, of Albany, shot and killed 53-year old James Guffey, of Albany.

Investigators say the two men were together at a home on Wolf River Dock Road in Clinton County when the deadly altercation took place.

Guffey was rushed to the Clinton County Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to KSP.

Slone was lodged in the Clinton County jail, according to State Police.
