Cleveland man found guilty in Frankfort overdose investigation
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a man who was accused of dealing heroin that led to overdoses in Frankfort was found guilty on Thursday after a three-day trial.
Officers say back in February of 2016 they began an investigation after numerous heroin overdoses on the same day. The results of that investigation found a common link between four victims of overdose, and the trail led them to Brandon Nelson Campbell, of Cleveland, Ohio.
In July, investigators say they arrested Campbell, after he sold heroin to confidential sources in Frankfort.
Campbell was later indicted on two counts of distribution of controlled substances.
His sentencing is scheduled for February 1, 2017.
