Clay County road to close for more than a week

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A road in Clay County is scheduled to be closed beginning this weekend as crews prepare to put in a new bridge.

The state says Curry Branch Road (CR 1263) is scheduled to be closed beginning Sunday, November 4 at 7:00 a.m., and is expected to re-open Wednesday, November 14.

Motorists will need to use Crawfish Road (CR 1264) as an alternate route.  Message boards will be placed on KY 80 to warn drivers of the closure.  Signs will be placed on Curry Branch Road to notify local traffic.
