Clay County man charged with murder

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Authorities have charged a Clay County man with murder after another man is found shot to death at a home in Manchester.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting happened on South Highway 421 around 8 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies say Ricky Wagers shot Eddie Spurlock multiple times with a shotgun.

Investigators have not said what led up to the shooting.
