Clay County man arrested for multiple stabbings
MANCHESTER, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A Clay County man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing three people during a violent attack in Manchester.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Roots Branch Road where they say 27-year-old Stephen Centers was detained at the scene. Investigators say Centers stabbed three people, knocked down a woman, and chased a child with a knife.
Deputies say multiple victims identified Centers as the aggressor. He was arrested and is now facing multiple charges, including attempted murder.
The victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
