Clay County man accused of setting fire in home

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is arrested after deputies says he set fire to furniture in a Clay County home Tuesday morning.

Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called at 8:25 a.m. to the home on Mill Pond Road for a complaint about a man trespassing on the property.

Deputies say 25-year-old David Taylor, of Mill Pond, had previously told to leave the home. They say he returned to set fire to a couch.

Taylor is charged with criminal trespassing and arson.
