Classes to resume Wednesday at Cumberland Elementary

CUMBERLAND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Classes are scheduled to resume on Wednesday, September 5, at Cumberland Elementary in Harlan County, according to school officials.

Students were dismissed early Tuesday because of problems with the air conditioning system.  Temperatures reached into the 90’s on Tuesday.

School officials say the cooling unit was fixed on Tuesday, so classes can resume on Wednesday.
