Clarksville man arrested after short pursuit

Oak Grove, Ky. (WTVQ) – After observing a motocyclist speeding on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Oak Grove Friday, Kentucky State Police Trooper Hunter Carroll was led on a pursuit while getting ready to conduct a traffic stop.

Trooper Carroll says the motorcycle turned onto State Route 911 as he approached and initiated his emergency equipment for a traffic stop. The motorcyclist sped up and continued south on State Route 911 for one mile before the driver lost control in a curve and left the roadway. The driver then fled on foot before being arrested, without incident, behind a home on Thompsonville Lane.
