Clark County received funds to repair roads damaged by slides
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced Friday Clark County will get more than $62,000 to repair two roads damaged by slides.
The cabinet says Clark County Fiscal Court will receive $41,600 in County Road Aid emergency funds for a slide repair on Old Ruckerville Road.
The project location on Old Ruckerville Road is milepoint 1.713 south of Logan Lick Road.
It will also receive $21,280 in County Road Aid emergency funds for a slide repair on Jackson Ferry Road.
That project is located at milepoint 1.730 south of KY 974 on Jackson Ferry Road.
The cabinet says the repairs will make travel safer for cars, school buses and other vehicles.
The Clark County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
