Civil War Symposium In Lexington

The Bluegrass Heritage Museum in Lexington hosted a Civil War Symposium Saturday.

Four speakers including Jerry Raisor, Robert Bell, Stuart Sanders and David Mowery talked about the impact of the Civil War.

The story of Revered Newton Bush, a slave who escaped to join the Union Army and earn his freedom., was portrayed by Bell.
