City Investigated For Possible Fair Housing Violations

Federal housing officials are reportedly investigating the City of Lexington for possible fair housing violations.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that the case involves the city’s decision to revoke a permit for the Community Inn homeless shelter on Winchester Road.

The city revoked the permit last year citing zoning issues.

The Herald-Leader says federal HUD investigators are handling the case.
