City of Hazard okays Sunday alcohol sales

HAZARD, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Hazard City Commission okayed Sunday alcohol sales at its Monday meeting.

Wine, liquor, and beer will be able to be sold between 1p.m. and midnight at restaurants and retail stores within the city limits.

There will be a three percent sales tax on the sales.

This will go into effect in two weeks.
